The Revival
The identity for the festival is anchored by illustration and custom type that draw inspiration from the work of Saul Bass, who was widely known for his iconic movie posters with their stylistic form reduction and hand cutout shapes and typography. The type for each film title was manually drawn to recreate the paper cut feel. In some places, stylistic ligatures were introduced to build some character into the title.
